Highway Spills and Energy Plus Super C

Highway spills can be costly to clean up. When a spill occurs, the roadway, medians, ditches and surrounding vegetation are affected. Fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid and other spilled contaminants all need safe, effective cleaning that doesn't damage the environment.

Conventional cleanup methods incorporate fire foam as a suppressant. Affected soil and vegetation is treated with sand and/or the topsoil is removed to an approved disposal area. By spraying the contaminated area with a Super C mixture, the contaminants are encapsulated, preventing adhesion to any surfaces. This enables the contaminants to be more easily removed. Furthermore, colloids in the Super C mixture actively break down and biodegrade the contaminants leaving the environment ecologically sound.
