Aluminum Production Plants

Energy Plus 180 Super C can be used to clean many systems in aluminum plants. It is effective on:

  • pipe lines
  • heat exchangers
  • water pumping equipment
  • other production equipment

The Energy Plus products can be used while the plant remains fully operational. Energy Plus can be added to the water supply that is being injected into the various systems without having to shut down operations.

Because Energy Plus acts as a friction release and increases the efficiency of the cooling systems, pressure within these systems will rise and needs to be monitored and adjusted to account for the more efficient cooling.

The benefit of the friction release aspect of Energy Plus is that while the cooling system must maintain the same amount of pressure, the pumping equipment is able to provide that pressure more efficiently which lowers the strain on the pumping equipment and should help extend the life of the equipment. The pipe systems also benefit from the removal of corrosive substances that are normally present.

Corrosive build up occurs on the walls of the cooling system pipes over time. Energy Plus 180 Super C will biodegrade those impurities. Continued use of Energy Plus in the water cooling system will also act to prevent future build up. This has the added benefits of not only allowing the waste water to be disposed of without contaminating the disposal site but, because the Energy Plus product remains active, it can also remove pollutants that already exist at those sites.

  • Phosphorus
  • Potassium
  • Sulfur

Aluminum particles are also surrounded by Energy Plus 180 Super C. While they cannot be broken down, the encapsulation of the particles insures that they are unable to attach to other corrosives and are flushed out of the system
